Uniplaces wants to enable students from all over the world to find a home in Europe and safely rent from local landlords, even before stepping foot in their new city. This is why we turned the pain of knocking door to door and going through classified ads into a safe and easy process done entirely online. Think about it; you can look at dozens of different places on our platform in the same amount of time that it would take you to see a room!
To make up for the fact that you're not able to personally visit before booking, we do our best to ensure every listing on our platform only includes accurate information about every place. To do so, we invest in offering your future landlords professional photography services, including a personalised floor plan design and a walk-through video. Our dedicated team of curators on the Onboarding Team also goes through every single listing.

Even with all these quality checks, we want to make sure you are fully satisfied and confident with your choice. After you pay for a booking, we'll hold your first payment and only transfer it to your landlord 24 hours after you move in. If you get to your place and you realise it's nothing like it was described on the listing on our platform, you have 24 hours to get in touch with us to let us know about the issue. We'll promptly look into it and make sure we help you find the best solution possible.
