To cancel a booking, go the top right corner of your screen when you're on Uniplaces and click on “Hello, Your name”. Click on “Booking Requests”, search for your confirmed booking, click on the “Actions” dropdown menu, and choose “Cancel booking”. Alternatively, go to "Booking Details" and click on the "Cancel booking" button.
Firstly, you will need to provide the reason for your cancellation.
You will then see a preview of the cancellation policy applied to your booking and whether or not you're entitled to a refund. If you are, the specific amount will be shown.
If you wish to learn more about your cancellation policy, please click on the policy type.
To complete the cancellation, just click on “Confirm cancellation”. Your landlord will be automatically notified and, in case you're entitled to a refund, it will be automatically transferred to your bank or PayPal account. Since this is an international transfer, keep in mind that it might take up to 10 working days before you receive it. Keep in mind that you can only cancel a booking before the official start date on your contract. Please note that the Uniplaces service fee is non-refundable.
