Having a high response rate is crucial to keep your listings in a privileged position on our search results and to receive more booking requests. Here are a few tips to keep your response rate high:
1. Speed is the key. Our booking requests expire after 48 hours. The speed at which you respond to your booking requests is very important so that tenants know if your place is available. If you let this timeframe run out, your booking requests expire. Every time you let a booking request expire, your listing will go down on our search results;
2. It’s not about accepting or declining; it's about replying! Make sure to reply to every booking request. Even if you don't have the availability to accept a specific booking request, make sure to decline it on your Personal Dashboard. While declining booking requests doesn't have any influence on your listing, letting booking requests expire decreases your response rate and makes your listing go down on our search results, potentially leading to fewer booking requests;
3. Answer your booking requests anywhere. You can access your Personal Dashboard on your computer, phone or tablet! Once you've logged in with your username and password you can immediately reply to your booking requests, even if you are not at home or in your office. You can also choose to receive booking requests via SMS;
4. Keep a reminder. Try scheduling a reminder on your calendar to remember to check your Personal Dashboard regularly and respond to your booking requests as soon as possible.
